River Till @ Wooler
Below is a video feed of the River Till at Wooler (Northumberland). Overlain on the video are the visible trajectories that are tracked to determine the flow velocity of the water surface. Results of the image velocimetry analysis are shown below. Also provided is river level data determined using an ultrasonic level sensor. This station gauge was established and is maintained by Newcastle University and is part of an ongoing partnership between Newcastle University and the EA.
