River Irwell @ Kearsley
Below is a video feed of the River Irwell at Kearsley (Manchester), along with image velocimetry analysis conducted on the most recent footage received. Also provided is river level data for the previous week. This gauge was established and is maintained by the Environment Agency (EA). Videos are acquired and analysed to extract river velocity using a device maintained by Newcastle University. This was installed as part of a partnership with the EA.
